The deeply formed silver elements presented significant fabrication challenges, requiring custom solutions to construct and finish. This collar necklace is made with sterling silver and 14 karat gold disks. The disks were hand-forged into a concave shape in a layered composition and enhanced with a 4mm round almandine garnet gemstone and flush-set lab-grown red sapphires. The collar is also hand-forged.
