Framework is a study in structure and restraint within handcrafted sterling silver filigree jewelry.
Each piece is built entirely in silver — including the filigree — as an exercise in flame control and precision. Geometry establishes the boundary; the filigree moves within it.
Two works explore traditional Italian filigree techniques, using fine silver filler wires placed and soldered by hand. These pieces serve as a technical precursor to the sculptural filigree forms that followed.
Framework marks the moment when discipline became direction —
where filigree jewelry moved from study to intention.

Teardrop shaped sterling silver earrings with 5mm round lab-grown ruby gemstones and filigree embellishments. The filigree design is raised, so there is a look of depth, with a shadow box effect. The earrings are designed so they look like a matching set without them both looking the same. The earrings are posts.
