Fine Metal Forms
Filigree & Forged Silver and Gold Jewelry
Welcome to my studio in the San Francisco Bay Area
I design and create handmade silver and gold jewelry, exploring filigree and forged forms through structure, proportion, and light. My background in engineering still shapes how I think — I’m naturally drawn to balance, precision, and the satisfaction of building something well.
Each piece begins as an idea and evolves slowly at the bench. I shape, solder, adjust, and refine until the form feels right in my hands. Some pieces build dimension through filigree jewelry techniques; others are forged from solid metal and formed through heat and pressure.
Because every piece is formed individually at the bench, no two are exactly alike.
Subtle variation is not something I try to eliminate — it’s part of the character that comes from making each piece by hand.
What appears simple is often carefully constructed.
What appears light is usually more complex than it looks.
Everything here is artisan jewelry, made by hand, one piece at a time.
My Path to Metal
A closer look at the work — and how it evolved.
Metalwork wasn’t part of some lifelong plan. It began simply as something I wanted to try — a creative counterpoint to analytical work — and gradually became the place where structure, design, and material converged.
What started as exploration grew into a focused practice at the bench, where each piece of handcrafted jewelry develops through deliberate design and careful construction.
